A very healthy entry of drivers, were received this month at the circuit, with the visiting Super 4 Championship 125 & 250 Gearboxes. The weather stayed dry and the atmosphere buzzing.
The Cadet class was very well supported which resulted in a full grid. The following drivers won the heats:- Heat 1 was won by Tom Wood, followed by Alex McRoberts & Shayne Harrison. Heat 2 saw Joseph Reeves-Smith take the win, followed by Harrison Thomas and Alex McRoberts. Heat 3 was won by Harrison Thomas, followed by Connor Hall and Alex McRoberts.
Harrison Thomas secured pole for the final of which he maintained throughout the race, but behind him a battle was taking place between Connor Hall, Alex McRoberts and Tom Wood. Places were exchanged between the drivers for 3rd place but as the chequered flag fell the following drivers claimed the top 3 slot, Harrison Thomas took the win, very closely followed by Tom Wood and Connor Hall. Fastest lap went to Shayne Harrison 48.53.
A very large grid was represented this weekend in the Junior TKM Class with resulted in 4 heats taking place. The following drivers won the heats:- Heat 1 was won by Arran Mills, followed by Gavin Pitt and Jamie Andrews. Heat 2 saw Matt Davies take the win, followed by Jack Ransom and Scott Jeffs. Heat 3 was won by Gavin Pitt, followed by Matt England and Matt Davies. Heat 4 saw Will Shaw take the win, followed by Joshua Grimston and Gavin Pitt.
Gavin Pitt secure pole for the final, and as the lights changed to green he took the lead. Matt Davies, Jack Ransom and Arran Mills were having a great battle of their own challenging for the remaining podium places. As the flag fell Gavin took the win, followed by Matt Davies and Jack Ransom. The fastest lap went to Arran Mills 42.86.
The first Super 4 class to take to the circuit this weekend were the 125 Gearboxes. Due to the large number of entries again 4 heats were held and the following drivers won them:- Heat 1 was won by Jason Gardner, followed by James Mudd and Mat Dittmann. Heat 2 saw Dafydd Iles take the win, followed by Daniel Borton and Jason Gardner. Heat 3 was won by Daryl Henderson, followed by Richard Palmer and Peter Baybutt. Heat 4 saw Sam Moore take the win, followed by James Glenister and Daniel Borton.
Jason Gardner secure pole for the final. As the lights changed from red to green, Jason had an excellent start and led the pack around the first bend, with Sam Moore right on his tail. The atmosphere during the race was electrifying. As the chequered flag fell Jason Gardner secured the win with Sam Moore less than 0.15 seconds behind him and Daryl Henderson 3rd. Fastest lap went to Daniel Borton 30.15.
The second Super 4 class to take to the circuit this weekend were the 250 Gearboxes. The following drivers won the heats:- Heat 1 was won by James Hassall, followed by Lee Stamp and James Pike. Heat 2 saw Stephen Lane take the win, followed by James Hassall and Chris Morris. Heat 3 was won by Lee Stamp, followed by Stephen Lane and Chris Morris.
Stephen Lane secure pole for the final. As the lights changed Stephen was quickly off the line to take the lead into the first bend, very closely followed by James. It was extremely close racing. As the chequered flag fell the Stephen took the win, followed by James and Chris Morris. Fastest lap went to Stephen Lane 29.59.
The Minimax Class again was well supported and the following drivers won during the 3 heats:- Heat 1 was won by Lewis Malin, followed by Guy Wenham and Ben Davies. Heat 2 saw Ben Davies take the win with James Webb and Lewis Malin finishing 2nd and 3rd. Heat 3 was won by Ben Davies followed by Sam Stansbury and Lewis Malin.
Ben Davies secured pole for the final and as the lights changed he took up the lead and held onto it until the chequered flag fell. Behind the leader places exchanged on laps by various drivers for the 2nd and 3rd place slots, but as the flag fell James Webb secured 2nd and Lewis Malin 3rd. Fastest lap went to Ben Davies and James Webb 43.75.
Our Senior TKM class was also very well supported this month and the following drivers won the heats:- Heat 1 was won by Guy Tolley, followed by James Ogden and Nick Harris. Heat 2 saw Ashley Yorke take the win followed by Luke Ogden and Matthew Allnutt. Heat 3 was won by Nick Harris, followed by Guy Tolley and James Ogden.
Guy Tolley secured pole for the final, and as the lights changed was immediately challenged for the position. Several drivers exchanged positions at various places on the circuit throughout the race, but as the chequered flag fell, Ashley Yorke took the win, very closely followed by Luke Ogden and James Ogden. Fastest lap went to Guy Tolley 43.04.
A large number of Senior Rotax drivers attended this weekend and the results are as followed for the heats:- Heat 1 saw Ryan Lovelock take the win, followed by Ben Palmer and Chris Thomas. Heat 2 was won by Jon Sweeper, followed by Jake Dawson and Shaun Fulford. Heat 3 saw Ben Palmer take the win, followed by Scott Hutchins and Chris Thomas.
Ben Palmer secured pole for the final, and as the lights changed he took the lead into the first bend. Several drivers exchanged places during the race with many amazing manoeuvres taking place, but as the flag Jake Dawson secured 2nd place and Jon Sweeper 3rd. Fastest lap went to Jon Sweeper 41.62.
Our 125 and 250 Club drivers shared a race due to smaller numbers and the following drivers took the wins during the heats:- 125 Heat 1 was won by David Baldwin, followed by Anthony Wynell-Mayow and Francois Kishtoo. Heat 2 saw David take the win, followed by Anthony and Francois. Heat 3 was won again by David, followed by Francois and Anthony.
250 Heat 1 was won by Julian Stokes, followed by Rob Wynell-Mayow and Mark Powell. Heat 2 saw Rob take the win, followed by Julian Stokes and Chris Purdie. Heat 3 was won again by Rob, followed by Julian and Chris.
David Baldwin secured pole for the 125 final of which he led from the change of the lights. Francois and Anthony had a very intense battle for 2nd place, but as the flag fell, Francois secured 2nd and Anthony 3rd.
Rob Wynell-Mayow secured pole for the 250 Gearbox final of which he led from start to finish, with Julian finishing 2nd and Chris 3rd. Fastest lap went to David Baldwin 30.70 125 Gearbox and Rob Wynell-Mayow 30.87 250 Gearbox.

Sam Morgan secured pole for the final but was challenged early on for the lead by Josh Collings. Several drivers exchanged position for 2nd and 3rd throughout the race, and as the flag fell Josh secured the win followed by Matthew George and Sam Morgan. Fastest lap went to Josh Collings 42.44.
